Cookie Policy

PINK ANT, S.L. provides information about the use of cookies on this website:

What are cookies?

Cookies are files that can be downloaded to your computer through websites. They are tools that play an essential role in the provision of many information society services. Among other things, they allow a website to store and retrieve information about a user’s or their computer’s browsing habits, and, depending on the information obtained, they can be used to recognize the user and improve the service provided.

Types of cookies

Depending on which entity manages the domain from which the cookies are sent and processes the data collected, there are two types:

First-party cookies:

Those sent to the user's device from a computer or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

Third-party cookies:

Those that are sent to the user's device from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.

If cookies are installed from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered first-party cookies.

There is also a second classification based on how long they remain stored in the user's browser, which may include:

Session cookies:

Designed to collect and store data while the user is browsing a webpage. They are typically used to store information that is only needed to provide the service requested by the user on a one-time basis (e.g., a list of purchased items).

Persistent cookies:

The data remains stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a period determined by the party responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

Finally, there is another classification that identifies six types of cookies based on the purpose for which the collected data is processed:

Technical cookies:

Those that allow the user to navigate a website, platform, or application and use the various options or services available there, such as controlling data traffic and communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items included in an order, completing the purchase process for an order, submitting a registration or participation request for an event, using security features while browsing, storing content for the streaming of videos or audio, or sharing content via social media.

Personalization cookies:

They allow users to access the service with certain predefined general settings based on a series of criteria on the user’s device, such as language, the type of browser used to access the service, the regional settings of the location from which the service is accessed, etc.

Analytics cookies:

They allow the entity responsible for them to track and analyze the behavior of users on the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through these types of cookies is used to measure the activity on websites, applications, or platforms and to create user profiles for those sites, applications, and platforms, with the aim of making improvements based on the analysis of how users interact with the service.

Advertising cookies:

They enable the most efficient management of advertising space.

Behavioral advertising cookies:

They store information about user behavior obtained through continuous monitoring of their browsing habits, which allows them to create a specific profile for displaying targeted advertising.

Cookies from external social media platforms:

These cookies are used to allow visitors to interact with content on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and are generated exclusively for users of those social media platforms. The terms of use for these cookies and the information collected are governed by the privacy policy of the respective social media platform.
